Dirt, mineral scale, and organic matter are filtered out
of
the
fresh water system by an in-line water filter on the inlet side
of
the water pump.
If
you suspect a clogged filter, it is easily
removed and cleaned.
Inspect the filter after running the first full tank
of
water.
Clean and inspect monthly thereafter.
See illustration for fil-
ter location.
1.
Loosen the water line at the inlet end of the filter, and
remove.
2.
Unscrew the filter cap from the filter.
3.
Remove the filter screen
4.
Flush out and clean screen.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
6.
Operate the water pump and check for leaks.
To
drain hot and cold lines:
1.
Open HOT and COLD low point drain valves located
in
the
basement
utility compartment.
2.
After the water stops flowing close the low point drain
valves.
3.
Open the valves to the outdoor wash down shower and
open the shower
handle and faucet until all water has
drained from the
lines.
