Cover tires with cloth, plywood, or aftermarket tire
covers.

Prepare generator (if equipped). Refer
to
generator
operating manual included in your
Owner's
Information Package.
Run the engine for about
15
minutes every 30 days.
Thrn the vehicle air conditioner ON during this run.
Check engine oil, transmission fluid and coolant levels.
Perform all steps
as
required for short-term storage.
Run engine to normal operating temperature. Operate
air conditioner
to
lubricate compressor seals. Drain
engine oil, replace filter, refill engine with fresh oil.

Remove windshield wiper blades and store inside the
motor home.

Charge and remove both the vehicle and auxiliary bat-
teries.
Store them in a cool, dry place, and check the
charge and water level every
30 days.
If
the specific
gravity is being checked, recharge the battery when it
drops
to
1.220. The time it takes the battery
to
reach
1.220 depends on its condition and the temperature.
The colder the storage area, the slower the battery will
self-discharge. A normal time between charges is three
months.
Remove, clean and replace air conditioner filters.
Cover the air conditioner shroud(s).
Winterize

battery charger

trickle charge both house
and automotive batteries.
The
battery disconnect
switch must
be
ON for
the solar charger
