Controls for the optional (standard on slide-out models)
leveling system are located
to
the left
of
the instrument
panel. A detailed operating and maintenance guide is includ-
ed in your
Owner's Information Package. Read all instruc-
tions for this system carefully before operating the system.
The power entry step is controlled by the ignition switch and
by a switch near the entry door.
Power for the entry step is
supplied by the coach battery. The battery must be connected
for the step to operate
as
described below. The step has a
"last out" feature. With the battery disconnect ON, turn the
ignition switch
OFF and open the door. The step will extend
and lock in the
OUT position. The step also has
an
ignition
override
feature.
If
the door is closed (as though ready to
depart) with the step extended, the step will automatically
retract when the engine ignition is switched
ON. This pre-
vents driving with the step extended. The switches operate
the step according to the following table.

the system
as
a jack or
with a jack.

Under certain conditions,
the
step may not extend
using
the
last-out feature.
Always look
and
be
sure
the step
is
extended
before exiting the motor
home.
WARNING
If door
is
opened
and
closed without allowing
the
step
to
fully
extend
and
lock
in
the
out position,
the
step
will
retract
and
lock
in
the
up
position.
