2.5 Personnel Qualification
Any personnel of the operating company that works with the Argus Ball Valve must have
appropriate knowledge and skills and fulfill the following conditions:

Attendance at all training courses offered by the operating company.

Sufficient qualification and personal suitability for the respective activity.

Successfully completed training in handling of the Argus Ball Valve.

Knowledge of the personal protective equipment (PPE) and the way this equipment
functions.

Knowledge of this operating manual, particularly of safety messages and sections
relevant for the activity.

Knowledge of fundamental regulations regarding health and safety and accident
prevention.
All persons must have the following minimum qualification:

Successfully completed training as specialists to carry out work on the Argus Ball Valve
without supervision.

Successfully completed training that they are able work on the Argus Ball Valve under
the supervision and guidance of a trained specialist.
