Installing the Safety Plug
1. Screw the complete safety plug tightly into the tapped hole using a chemical
adhesive (e.g., Loctite).
Installation of the safety plug is now complete.
Opening the Safety Drain Plug
Risk of injury due to hazardous fluid residues!
Hazardous fluid residues escaping laterally of the safety drain plug may cause severe
injury or death.
Do not place yourself in front of the outlet orifice.
Keep the catch basin nearby and collect any hazardous fluid residues.
1. Turn the safety plug head in the counterclockwise direction.
Note that the safety plug head may only be opened, not forcibly screwed out.
The safety drain plug is open and the fluid residues can escape.
