CALCULATE
If bi-directional measurement is enabled (SETUP 6.3), select here the
way of calculation:
Add: Forward flow will be interpreted as positive flow.
Differential Total, accumulated Total will count up.
Accumulated Total A will count up (if enabled at SETUP 5.2)
Reverse flow will be interpreted as positive flow.
Differential Total, accumulated Total will count up.
Accumulated Total B will count up (if enabled at SETUP 5.2)
Diff: Forward flow will be interpreted as positive flow.
Differential Total, accumulated Total will count up.
Accumulated Total A will count up (if enabled at SETUP 5.2)
Reverse flow will be interpreted as negative flow.
Differential Total, accumulated Total will count down.
Accumulated Total B will count up (if enabled at SETUP 5.2)
Not Neg: Forward flow will be interpreted as positive flow.
Differential Total, accumulated Total will count up.
Accumulated Total A will count up (if enabled at SETUP 5.2)
Reverse flow will be interpreted as zero flow.
Differential Total, accumulated Total will not count.
Accumulated Total B will count up (if enabled at SETUP 5.2)
6.5
K-FACTOR
With this setting you can determine if signal A and signal B use the
same K-Factor (single) or different K-Factors for each pickup (DUAL).
When SINGLE is selected, SETUP-menu 3 and SETUP-menu 4 are
not accessible.
6.6
UNITS
With this setting the automatic unit conversion is enabled for
volumetric flows or mass flows. When Hand is selected, the automatic
unit conversion is disabled. The following can be selected:
AUTO-VOL, AUTO-MASS, HAND
To make use of the automatic unit conversion, Total and
Flowrate must have a convertible unit. If this is not possible,
HAND should be chosen. This will cause SETUP 6.7, SETUP 6.8
and SETUP 6.9 to disappear and the unit, K-factor and K-factor
decimals must be specifically set at SETUP-menu 1 4.
6.7
K-FACTOR UNIT
SETUP 4.3 determines the measurement unit for the flowmeter.
With automatic unit conversion, the units for Total and Flowrate are
derived from this setting. The following can be selected:
L m3 US GAL IGAL cf oil bbl kg ton US ton lb
Changing the type of flowmeter unit (volumetric or mass) causes
the settings of the Total (SETUP 1.1) and Flowrate (SETUP 2.1)
to automatically change to the default unit of that type.
Change of the flowmeter unit will not change the amount
displayed for Total and accumulated Total.
6.8
K-FACTOR A
With the K-factor, the flowmeter pulse signal of pickup A will be
converted to a quantity. The K-factor is based on the number of
pulses generated by the flowmeter per selected measurement unit
(SETUP 6.7), for example per cubic meter. The more accurate the K-
factor, the more accurate the functioning of the system will be.
After pressing PROG, the decimal point will be flashing. The decimal
position can be changed now by pressing the -key.
6.9
K-FACTOR B
With the K-factor, the flowmeter pulse signal of flowmeter B will be
converted to a quantity.
