Syntax:
SYSTem:VERSion?
Response:

YYYY The year number of the SCPI version.
V The approved revision number within the year.
Description:
Reports the version of the SCPI command set to which your instrument complies.
The year and revision number within that year is returned, e.g., 1992.0.
