Autotest in Far End Source Mode: Test the Fiber

If you disconnected the test reference cord from
the source’s output port, you must set the
reference again to ensure valid measurements.

Clean and inspect the connectors on the cabling to be
tested; then connect the tester and source to the
cabling. The tester shows connections for the test
method you selected. Figure 18 shows connections for
the 1 Jumper method.

Turn the rotary switch to AUTOTEST, press P; then
select the wavelength set on the smart remote.

To save the results, press N, select or create a fiber ID;
then press
N again.
