Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
REINSTALL ON/OFF relay, GO to H10 .
No
REPAIR Circuit 589 (OG). REPEAT the FEM self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
H10 CHECK CIRCUIT 56 (DB/OG) AND 58 (WH) FOR SHORT TO GROUND
Front Wiper Motor C113
Measure the resistance between wiper HI/LOW relay Pin 5, Circuit 56 (DB/OG), harness side and ground; and
between wiper HI/LOW relay Pin 4, Circuit 58 (WH), harness side and ground.
Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes
GO to H11.
No
REPAIR Circuit 58 (WH) or Circuit 56 (DB/OG), as necessary. REPEAT the FEM self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
H11 CHECK CIRCUIT 56 (DB/OG) AND 58 (WH) FOR OPEN
Measure the resistance between wiper HI/LOW relay Pin 5, Circuit 56 (DB/OG), harness side and windshield
wiper motor C113 Pin 5, Circuit 56 (DB/OG), harness side; and between wiper HI/LOW relay Pin 4, Circuit 58
(WH), harness side and windshield wiper motor C113 Pin 4, Circuit 58 (WH), harness side.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to H12.
No
REPAIR Circuit 58 (WH) or Circuit 56 (DB/OG), as necessary. REPEAT the FEM self-test, CLEAR the DTCs.
H12 CHECK CIRCUIT 56 (DB/OG) AND 58 (WH) FOR SHORT TO VOLTAGE
Measure the voltage between wiper HI/LOW relay Pin 5, Circuit 56 (DB/OG), harness side and ground; and
between wiper HI/LOW relay Pin 4, Circuit 58 (WH), harness side and ground.
Is any voltage indicated?
