Maintenance
Regular maintenance is the way to ensure the best performance and long life of your
machine. Please refer to this manual and the engine manufacturer’s user manual for
maintenance procedures.
Before performing any maintenance procedure or inspection, stop the engine, wait
ve minutes to allow all parts to cool. Disconnect the spark plug wire (FM6DD) or the
power cable (FM4DDE).

Engine Oil (FM6DD)
The FM6DD does not have a dipstick in order to check the oil level. To ensure the oil
level is sucient, remove the oil cap on the side of the engine (next to the discharge
chute) and make sure that the oil is full to the brim of the cap. If not, add oil until it
ows out of the hole, replace the cap and wipe o any excess oil.
