• The length of the communication cables between the aPbox and the aGate
shall not exceed 328 feet (100 meters)
• Use twisted pair cables for RS485 conductors.
• Refer to Table 1 above for wire gauge recommendations.
Two RC65s connected to an aGate
The FHP system supports up to two RC65 connections to a single aGate. When two RC65
units are connected in parallel to an aGate:
• First RC65
o TB3 485A connected to the aGate A4 terminal
o TB3 485B connected to the aGate B4 terminal
• Second RC65
o TB3 485A connected to the aGate A1 terminal
o TB3 485B connected to the aGate B1 terminal
