INSTALLATION OF THE RANGE
Read these instructions completely and carefully.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Installation of this range must conform with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the
National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1, latest edition and in conformance with the National Electrical
code, ANSI/NFPA 70-latest edition and all local codes and ordinances. A copy of the above code
standards can be obtained from:
National Fire Protection Associaton
One Batterymarch Park
Quincy, MA 02269.
As with any appliance using gas and generating
heat, there are certain safety precautions you should
follow. You will find these precautions in the Important
Safety Information section in the front of this manual.
Read them carefully.
Installations must be performed by a qualified or
licensed contractor, plumber or gasfitter qualified
or licensed by the state, province, or region where
this appliance is being installed.
Only use gas shut-off valves approved for use within
the state, province or region where this appliance
is being installed.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
Do not store or use combustible materials, gasoline or other flammable vapors
and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
If you smell gas:
3) Extinghuish any open flame.
4) Immediately call your gas supplier
In Massachusetts, a flexible gas connector, when
used, must not exceed 3 feet
(915 mm).
IMPORTANT: Save these instructions for the local
electrical inspectors use.
NOTE TO INSTALLER: Leave these instructions
with the appliance after installation is completed.
NOTE TO CONSUMER: Keep this Owners Manual
and Installation Instructions for future use.
