    Why is the walking belt off-center or slips on my Freemotion Treadmill?

      If the walking belt on your Freemotion Treadmill has shifted to the right or left, or slips when walked on, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a 7/32" hex key to turn the roller adjustment bolts 1/4 of a turn in the directions shown. If the belt slips, turn both bolts clockwise.

      If the walking belt slows down when you walk on your Freemotion Treadmill, it might be overtightened, which can decrease performance and damage the belt. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, using a 7/32" hex key, turn both roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn until the walking belt is properly tightened.
