KEYPAD REPLACEMENT
1. Shut off control power.
2. Unplug the defective keypad from the Q4 or Q5 board.
3. The keypad is afxed to the controller door with a
double-sided tape lm. Start by lifting the keypad at
one of the corners. Once the keypad starts to break
free from the underlying tape, continue pulling. A
carefully used putty knife can help to separate the
keypad from the adhesive.
4. Once the keypad has been entirely removed, you will
notice that much of the double-backed tape is re-
maining on the panel door. Carefully using a window
scraper style razor will remove most of this tape. Be
careful not to scratch the paint outside of the keypad
footprint.
5. Take the new keypad, and feed the at cable through
the slotted opening at the bottom of the display area.
6. Remove the paper backing of the keypad to expose
the double-backed tape underneath.
7. Carefully align the keypad on the door, ensuring that
the display is centered within the window of the key-
pad. Once you are satised with the position, rmly
press the keypad into place.
8. Plug the keypad cable back into the Q4 or Q5 board.
9. Turn Control power back on.
10. Test the new keypad as described earlier.
