– Avoid operating FRITZ!Powerline in the direct vicinity
of a radiator or heating unit.
– The slits and openings on the housing of FRITZ!Pow-
erline are for ventilation and must not be blocked or
covered.
• Overloaded outlets, extension cords and power strips
can lead to fires or electric shocks.
– Always plug FRITZ!Powerline directly into a wall out-
let.
– Avoid using socket strips and extension cords if at all
possible.
– If you would like to use multi-outlet power strips,
then plug FRITZ!Powerline into the wall outlet and the
multi-outlet strip in FRITZ!Powerline’s integrated
socket.
– Do not connect multiple FRITZ!Powerline adapters
with each other.
• Overloading the integrated outlet can damage
FRITZ!Powerline and result in malfunction or an electrical
accident.
– The integrated socket of FRITZ!Powerline may only
carry a load up to the specified power limit of 2300 W
and 10 A maximum.
• Electrical devices with heating functions like irons or
heating units harbor an increased fire hazard.
– Never operate devices with fire hazards in the socket
of FRITZ!Powerline without supervision.
