MACHINE DECOMMISSIONING
SYSTEM STOP
During machine decommissioning, before its dismantling, you must:
- Disconnect the machine from the electrical energy sources;
DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL
During machine dismantling, carefully follow the provisions regarding lifting and handling described in
the manuals of the single machines.
In particular:
- Do not use ropes or cables that are non-compliant or worn or with lifting capacity not suitable
for the weight of the machine;
- Carefully move the machine and ensure that there are no people within the action range of the
lifting equipment;
- Do not stand under suspended loads;
- Pay particular attention to suspended parts and any resulting risks.
DISPOSAL AND SCRAPPING
For disposal of the machines when they are decommissioned, there are no major problems regarding
components or materials at risk. Once the single components have been dismantled, divide them
according to their material.
Ferrous material: frame, guards, fittings, etc.
Aluminium: flanges, etc.
Plastic material: gaskets, cables, etc.
Electrical material: motors, panels, equipment.
During disposal, recover the components that can be recycled and reused.
ALL MACHINE COMPONENTS, AFTER HAVING BEEN DIVIDED ACCORDING TO THE MATERIAL,
MUST BE DISPOSED OF BY SPECIALISED COMPANIES THAT OPERATE IN COMPLIANCE WITH
THE LAWS IN FORCE IN THE USER’S COUNTRY.
