Selecting the characteristic
General
„Charger series
Selectiva Eco
1020 / 2010 / 2020“
- Use a suitable screwdriver to press the snap-in brackets of the right plastic sidepi-
ece out of the apertures in the housing.
- The currently set characteristic can be seen in the position of the coding switch
(behind the opening next to the fan)
Coding switch
Factory setting: Setting: 0 = Characteristic: 0000
- Using a suitable screwdriver, turn the coding switch to the desired characteristic
type.
- Refit the plastic side panel
WARNING! When selecting the characteristic, always follow the battery
manufacturer’s instructions.
WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Before opening the device, discon-
nect it from the mains.
NOTE! For the available characteristic types, refer to the section „Characteristic
parameters“ on the penultimate page of these instructions or, in the case of
special characteristics, in the enclosed leaflet.
CAUTION! Setting the mode incorrectly can result in product damage and poor
charging performance. Always set the mode according to the type of battery to
be charged.

- Disconnect charger lead from battery
- Plug charger into mains
- The charger displays idle mode
- Press and hold the Stop key (6) (for about 20 secs.) until all the indicators have
gone out; the currently selected characteristic is then displayed automatically
