Frypot Serial Number Placement
The serial number is etched inside the frypot. A fl ashlight held at a sharp angle is useful in fi nd-
ing and reading the number.
The frypot serial number is located inside the frypot on the front wall.

rating plate is the fi rst place to
look.
The serial number, annotated
above, provides the fryer’s
model year and the month it was
built, often vital information
when dealing with individual
components or software.
The rating plate, shown at right,
also includes the model number,
which reveals the fryer’s control-
lers and other features. The serial
number can also be found in the
frypot (shown below). The model
number is annotated in the Charts
and Tables section.
