Place the filter screen in the bottom of
the filter pan.
4. Lay a sheet of filter paper over the
screen, overlapping on all sides, or, if
using a filter pad, lay the pad over the
screen.
5. Install the hold-down ring over the
paper or the pad.
Lay a sheet of filter paper or a filter pad over
the screen. If using the PAD, ensure the rough
side of the pad is up.
If using filter paper, position the hold-down
ring over the filter paper and lower the ring into
the pan, allowing the paper to fold up around
the ring as it is pushed to the bottom of the
pan. When the hold-down ring is in position,
sprinkle one cup of filter powder evenly over
the paper.
If using a filter pad, position the hold-down ring
on top of the pad. DO NOT use filter powder with
the pad.
6. Replace the crumb screen in the filter pan, then push the filter pan back into the fryer,
positioning it all the way to the back of the cabinet.
