If the Fuji Electric Controller POD displays a 'Communication Error: Time-Out' message, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the cable connections to ensure they are correctly connected and that no cables are disconnected. Next, verify that the PLC parameter settings match the POD settings. Finally, run a self-loop test on the I/O Test screen. If this test fails, the POD may be faulty and should be returned to your local distributor.
