Turn the lock lever 90-degrees clockwise to lock
the waste toner container.

Close the side cover.
Cleaning the Paper Tray Rollers
If the paper jam often occurs, clean the rollers of the paper trays.
Cleaning the rollers of Tray 1

Switch the power off.

Switch the main power off and disconnect the power cord and other cables.

Open the Tray 5 (Bypass) and remove the
remaining paper on the tray.

Grasp the both sides of the Tray 5 (Bypass) and
pull it out.

Wipe the two rollers on the Tray 1 softly with a
cloth moistened with water while rotating them
with your hand.
Important • Do not lie the machine sideways. Toner may
stain the interior of the machine.
• Do not touch any other parts inside the
machine except the rollers. The machine may
be damaged.
