Remove & Shake
X Crtrdg
XXX=Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, or
Black
This message is displayed when the color printed with the X toner cartridge becomes
pale. Remove the X toner cartridge, and lightly shake it 5 to 6 times to even the toner.
Then, set the X toner cartridge at its original position.
Important
• Do not remove the toner cartridge except when required.
When removing the toner cartridge, the toner may scatter.

Remove PHD Unit
Tapes Mismatch
Ribbons remain in the drum cartridge. Remove the yellow ribbons from the drum
cartridge.

Replace PHD Unit It is time to replace the drum cartridge.
Replace the drum cartridge with a new one.

This message is displayed when the following two conditions are met.
1. The black toner cartridge is empty or the waste toner fills up the drum cartridge.
2. The fuser unit, the belt unit, or the drum cartridge reaches its life.
Replace the XXX toner cartridge and the YYY unit.
If the belt unit is displayed for YYY, call our Customer Support Center or your dealer.

The fuser unit is not installed correctly. Open the front cover and re-install the fuser
unit. After installing the unit, turn on the printer.
