7.5 Monitoring and Managing the Printer on a
Web Browser
When your printer is installed in a TCP/IP environment, you can monitor or remotely
configure the printer using a web browser on a networked computer.
This feature is called CentreWare Internet Services.
CentreWare Internet Services can check the status of consumables and the paper level of
the paper tray, too.
Note
• For information on how to use CentreWare Internet Services, refer to "Configuring the Printer Using
CentreWare Internet Services" (P. 29).
• CentreWare Internet Services cannot be used when using the printer as a local printer. For information
on how to monitor your printer when it is local, refer to "7.4 Checking the Printer Status via
SimpleMonitor" (P. 143).
