• You may not be able to execute the status confirmation (lpq) of the print jobs the user
specified for printing with LPD, since the address cannot be determined as the address
of the same device in the following cases.
1. When operating IPv4 and IPv6 simultaneously on the same host
2. When operating multiple IPv6 addresses simultaneously on the same host
• When exceeding the router's capability in a search using SMB, directly enter the address
of the destination. Response only to a multi-cast within the local link (FF02::1) is available.
• The reception restriction (IP filter) feature is available only for IPv4 addresses. (not for
IPv6 addresses)
• Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 do not support IPP+SSL printing of IPv4/IPv6.
• IPsec cannot be used for a device with a local link address.
• DDNS is not available when devices are operated with the local link addresses.
