● Example of an Installation for a Mainframe Connection
•
Power distribution units (horizontal type) are installed in the lower part of each rack.
•
SCCI/PPC is installed on the front side of the base rack. The position is the same as the power distribution unit
on the back side.
•
A single frontend enclosure is installed in a base rack.
•
Install controller enclosures and drive enclosures on a per node basis.
Install the enclosures in ascending order starting from the node with the smallest controller enclosure num-
ber.
