• The indicator is not lit: The no

Battery charging indicator/power connector
The state of charge of the battery is shown by the battery indicator.
With mains adapter conn ected:
• The indicator lights up blue: T he battery is fully charged.
• The indicator lights up orange: The battery is charging.
• The indicator flashes orange: An error has occurred. The battery
cannot be charged.
• The indicator is off: The system is in battery mode and the mains
adapter is not c onnected or the battery is not installed.

Drive in dicator

The indicator is lit: One of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being
accessed.
Num L ock indicator

keypad is activated. You can ou tput the characters indicated on the upper
right of the keys.
Caps Lo ck indicator

The indicator is lit: The Caps Lock key has been pressed. All the ch aracters
you type will appear in upper case. In the case o f overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key will a ppear when that key
is pre ssed.
