Operation
Incoming calls are indicated by the communication software as a ring tone over the monitor
speakers. The ring tone also sounds under the following conditions:
• USB headset or USB telephone conference system not currently being used.
• The computer is set to silent.
• The monitor is in energy-saving mode (network indicator: orange).
Call Indicator currently only works with the communication software
Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business.
Always use Call Indicator together with a USB headset or a USB telephone
conference system that you have connected to your computer. The monitor
cannot be used as a communication device.
In your communication software under Audio Devices, enable Call
Indicator as a "Secondary Device". When there are incoming calls, the
ring tone sounds over the monitor speakers.
Follow these instru
ctions when using Call Indicator:
• Connect the monitor
to the computer using the supplied USB cable as well.
• Enable the Call Indicator function via the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
