How to fix a FULLER O’BRIEN Pressure Washer engine that won't start?
    • S
      Sarah FarmerAug 16, 2025
If your FULLER O’BRIEN Pressure Washer engine won't start, first, ensure there's gasoline in the fuel tank and the fuel shut-off valve is open. If the tank is full, check the oil level and add more if it's low. Make sure the Start/Stop switch is in the Start position. Also, consider draining the fuel tank and carburetor if there's water in the gasoline or if the fuel is old, and use new fuel and dry the spark plug. If the engine is flooded, clear out the gas by opening the choke and cranking the engine several times. Also, clean or replace a dirty air filter or spark plug. Finally, ensure the spray gun is not closed by triggering it.

What to do if my FULLER O’BRIEN PRO 4030 Pressure Washer has low pressure and/or the pump runs rough?
    • S
      Shannon PrestonAug 19, 2025
If you notice low pressure or the pump runs roughly on your FULLER O’BRIEN Pressure Washer, it could be due to several reasons. Start by checking the water flow rate to the pump to ensure there is an adequate water supply. Inspect the garden hose for any collapses or kinks that might be restricting the inlet. Clean the inlet filter, inlet and discharge valve assemblies and check the filter for any particles. Replace the high-pressure hose if it's leaking. If the tip is worn or the wrong size, replace it with a tip of the proper size. Replace worn valves and packings. If there's belt slippage, tighten or replace the belts, using correct belts and replacing both at the same time.

Why does my FULLER O’BRIEN Pressure Washer engine miss or lack power?
    • K
      Kerri RamirezAug 22, 2025
If your FULLER O’BRIEN Pressure Washer engine misses or lacks power, start by removing and cleaning the air cleaner filter if it's partially plugged. Also, check the spark plug; if it's dirty, has the wrong gap, or is the wrong type, clean it, adjust the gap, or replace it.

What causes frequent or premature failure of the packings in my FULLER O’BRIEN PRO 4030?
    • A
      anthonysantiagoAug 26, 2025
Frequent failure of the packings in your FULLER O’BRIEN Pressure Washer can be caused by several factors. Check the water temperature; it may not exceed 160F. Ensure you're not overpressurizing the pump by avoiding modifications to any factory–set adjustments. Clean or replace the tip if it's partially plugged or damaged. Never run the pump for more than 10 minutes without spraying, and do not run the pump without water. Install new plungers if the existing ones are scored, damaged, or worn. If there's abrasive material in the fluid being pumped, install proper filtration on the pump inlet plumbing.
