Programming a charge limit for an extension number
Youcansetupachargeaccountforeachnumber(MSN)thathasbeenenteredinthetelephone. Anamount
intheconfigured currencythat isavailableformakingcalls willthenbeallocatedto thisaccount forthe de

fined number(MSN). Once this amount has beenexhausted, only free-of-charge calls can be directed for
thisMSNextensionnumber. Whenyouhaveprogrammedspecificdialrangesforthistelephone,callswith
costs can be directed to the unrestricted numbers.
If this limit is reached during an ongoing call, the call can be completed.
Whentheamountfor theaccountis increased,orwhentheaccrued chargesarecleared calls withcosts can
again be made.
Attention:Notallservice providers transfer charge rate information. Ifyoumake calls using a
serviceproviderwhichdoesnottransmitchargeinformation,thechargeaccountisineffectual.

If you enter the amount available for making calls as »0«, the charge account is not activated.
Enabling or inhibiting an extension number (MSN) for outgoing calls
Each number stored in the phone (»MSN-1«…»MSN-10«) can be enabled or inhibited separately for
outboundcalls. If you have inhibitedan MSN for outgoingcalls, no outgoingcallscanbe initiated through
this number (e. g. MSN assignment via function key). Incoming calls can continue to be received by this
number.
If you attempt to set up a call using a number that has beeninhibited for dialing, the following message is
shown in the display »Inhibit. : msn«.
Enablingor inhibitingofa numberfor outgoingcalls isprotectedby anMSN-specific PIN. Youmustenter
thisPINinadvanceduringconfigurationofthenumber(MSN). Afterthat,youcaninhibitorenabledialing
of external numbers (outgoing calls) for this MSN.
