3.10 AIS-SART Test Indication in Target List
The FA-150 can confirm if an AIS-SART is working properly. This test requires
message 1 data (MMSI No. 97 XXXXXXX, NAV STATUS: 15). Note that this
setting is turned off when the power is turned off.
1. Press the MENU key to open the menu.
2. Select USER SETTINGS then press the ENT key.

NOTE: For INLAND AIS mode, the
USER SETTINGS menu has two
pages. See section 2.9 to 2.11.
3. Sele
ct DISP SART TEST then press the ENT key.
4. Select ON then press the ENT key.
5. Press the DISP key to close the menu.
6. At the plotter display, press the DISP key.
7. Select SART then press the ENT key to show detailed information for the
AIS-SART.
8. Confirm that the STATUS field is showing “SART TEST”. (See page 1-19.)
