MS-AV700i and MS-IP700i Models
The700SeriesstereosprovideanexternalUSBconnector(rearcableassembly)
for connection to external iPods, iPhones, USB storage devices or FUSION MS-
DKIPUSBdock.
To connect your iPod, you will need:
• Portablemediadevicedock(MS-DKIPUSB),or
• AppleSyncCable.
To connect your USB flash drive, you will need:
• Portablemediadevicedock(MS-DKIPUSB),or
• ConnectyourUSBflashdrivedirectlytotheexternalUSBcable.
Note: If you select iPod or USB input without first connecting the device,
the message “Not connected” is displayed on the screen.
To connect your iPod or USB flash drive to the 700 Series via a
MS-DKIPUSB dock:
1. Press the door catch and open the door of the dock.
2. Insert your USB flash drive into the USB connector or insert your iPod
in its correct sleeve. Make sure that the device is firmly pushed onto the
connector socket.
3. Close the door firmly.
4. Selectinputfromthedevice,asrequired.
To connect your iPod to the 700 Series via an Apple Sync cable:
1. Plug the USB plug of your Sync Cable into the USB socket of the external
USB cable.
2. ConnectyouriPodoriPhonetothe30-pinConnectorofyourAppleSyncCable.
3. Selectinputfromthedevice,asrequired.
