Default settings
The language, date and time are set. The remote start function is enabled in
the default settings. It is used to approach remote areas of the garden.
Security settings
The robotic lawnmower is equipped with a PIN
code and alarm function. The security level can be
selected from low to high in the menu. This stops
the robotic lawnmower being used by others.
Setting the mowing times
Optimal results are achieved when the robotic lawnmower works continuously.
The specified coverage outputs are the maximum values based on 7 days
active time. The active times of GARDENA Robotic Lawnmowers range from
13 to 24 hours per day, depending on the respective robotic lawnmower. The
R40Li Robotic Lawnmower reaches its maximum coverage output of 400m²
with an active time of 13 hours every day (mowing and charging), 7 days per
week. To adapt the mowing time to lawn surface areas that are smaller than
the maximum coverage output of the robotic lawnmower, the mathematical
mowing value per hour is used. The settings are configured under the Timer
menu item. The mathematical mowing value includes mowing and charging
times. The following formula can be used to calculate the timer settings.
