Download the official GARDENA smart system app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Adhere to the step-by-step guidance provided within the GARDENA smart system application.
Connect the power supply unit to a mains socket and then to the Gateway's power socket.
Choose between connecting via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi network for internet access.
Use the provided network cable to connect the Gateway directly to your router.
The Gateway software updates automatically upon connection, taking up to 15 minutes.
Once LEDs are green, the Gateway is updated and ready for inclusion in the GARDENA app.
The Gateway creates a temporary Wi-Fi network for setup, indicated by a yellow Internet LED.
The configuration network is active for 15 minutes and can be reactivated by pressing the reset button.
Launch the Apple Home App on your iPhone or iPad.
Select the "Add accessory" option within the Home App to begin setup.
Scan the HomeKit label located on the bottom of the Gateway.
The Internet LED will turn green permanently, indicating the Gateway is updated and ready.
Obtain the GARDENA smart system app from the Apple App Store.
Complete the setup process by following the remaining instructions in the GARDENA app.
Connect your device to the Gateway's Wi-Fi network named "GARDENA_config".
Open the URL http://10.0.0.1 in your web browser to access the Gateway configuration interface.
Use the first eight digits of your Gateway ID as the password to log in.
Choose your home Wi-Fi network from the list presented in the Gateway Interface.
Input your Wi-Fi network password and confirm settings to connect the Gateway to the internet.
Download the GARDENA smart system app from the Google Play Store for Android devices.
Complete the setup by following the instructions provided in the GARDENA smart system application.
