Plug the small end of the USB cable
into the mini-USB port.
Your device and micro SD card
(optional) appear as removable
drives in My Computer on Windows
computers and as mounted volumes
on Mac computers.


After you have connected the device to
your computer, you can copy and paste
les from your computer into the device
drives/volumes.

Browse your computer for the le.

Select the le.

Select Edit > Copy.

Open the “Garmin” or memory card
drive/volume.

Select Edit > Paste.


Your device memory contains important
system les and folders that should not
be deleted.
Before you can delete les, you must
connect the device to your computer
(page 35).

Open the “Garmin” drive or volume.

If necessary, open a folder or volume.
