  To address continuous noise interference with your Garrett Metal Detector, try the following: * Enable the keypad by setting the TOUCHPAD KEY LOCK to the enable position. * Enter diagnostic mode by pressing the ACCESS touchpad and entering the code 8721. * Press the ACCESS key to view alarm levels for each zone. * Examine the alarm levels of each panel for each zone. * Identify and resolve noise sources by turning off nearby electrical equipment one by one, watching for changes in alarm levels. * Try switching the M Filter ON or OFF, or adjusting the Frequency.

Switch the M Filter ON or OFF, or adjust the Frequency. Remember to restore the Sensitivity and IR settings before using the equipment again.
