5 Use your fingers to unplug the CMOS battery connector from the system
board. Be careful not to touch or damage any other components.
Important
Use only CMOS batteries designed for
your Gateway notebook. The
non-conductive sleeve and wires are not
reusable.
6 Plug the new battery into the system board.
7 Reassemble the notebook.
