This setting may be made with the handset or the base. Make sure your
phone is OFF (not in TALK mode).
1. Press the cid/vol ( or  ) button on the handset or the CID/messages
( or ) button on the base to scroll to AREA CODE .

2. Press the OK soft key, and SET AREA CODE - - - shows in the display. - - -
is the default setting.
3. Use the touch-tone pad on your base or handset to enter your three digit
area code.
NOTE: Press the EXIT soft key to keep the previous setting and return to the
main menu screen.
4. Press the OK soft key to save your selection and return to the main
menu. The selected area code displays for two seconds.
