Why are clothes too wet after washing in my GE GFW148 Washer?
- MMelissa WilliamsSep 3, 2025
If your GE Washer leaves clothes too wet, it might be due to an unbalanced load. Try redistributing the clothes and running a Rinse+Spin cycle. A clogged pump filter could also be the cause; check the Care and Cleaning section for cleaning instructions. Avoid overloading the washer, ensuring clothes have room to move freely. Inspect the drain hose for kinks or improper connections, making sure the washer isn't sitting on it. A clogged household drain may also be the problem, possibly needing a plumber's attention. Lastly, ensure an air gap between the drain hose and the drain to prevent siphoning.
