    Why doesn't my GE Ranges drawer slide smoothly?

      If your GE Ranges drawer does not slide smoothly or drags, it could be out of alignment. Fully extend the drawer and push it all the way in. See the Care and cleaning of the range section. It may also be overloaded or the load is unbalanced, so reduce the weight and redistribute the contents.

      When using the ovens in your GE Ranges, it is normal to see steam coming out of the oven vents. The amount of visible steam will increase as the number of racks or the amount of food being cooked increases.

      The power cord may be obstructing the drawer in the lower back of the range, so reposition the drawer and power cord. Alternatively, the drawer slide or rail may be improperly aligned with the support, so reposition the drawer.
