Immersingorsoakingtheconnectorendsmaycorrodemetalcontactendsand
affectsignalquality.
•DoNOTletliquidscollectaroundtheconnectionpins.
Ifthishappens,blotthemdrywithasoft,lint-freecloth.

Propercleaninganddisinfectingprolongsthelifeofthecablesandleadwires.Failure
tousethepropercleaningsolutionsortofollowtheproperprocedurescanresultin
thefollowing:
•Damageorcorrosion
•Diminishedsignalquality
•Productdiscoloration
•Metalpartcorrosion
•Brittlewiresandconnectors
•Reducedcablesandleadwireslife
•Devicemalfunction
•Voidedwarranty
CleaningtheCablesandLeadwires
Usethefollowingproceduretocleanthecablesandleadwires:
NOTE:
•Whileperformingthefollowingprocedure,usecareincleaningtheleadwires
topreventpullingthewiresfromtheconnectorends,becausethemetal
connectionscanbepulledawayfromtheconnectors.
•Cleaningremovesdirtandmarksbutdoesnotdisinfectthecablesand
leadwires.
1.Removethecablesandleadwiresfromthedevicebeforecleaning.
2.Wipethemwithaclothlightlymoistenedwithamildsolutionofsoapandwater.
Donotuseanyofthefollowingcleaningproducts,orproductsthatcontainthe
sameactiveingredientsandsolutions,whichareknowntocausetheproblems
previouslylisted:
