How to troubleshoot ECG data noise on GE MAC 2000?
    • D
      Debbie WaltonJul 27, 2025
If you're experiencing ECG data noise with your GE Medical Equipment, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the device is being used in an environment that meets the minimum EMC requirements. Also, verify the patient’s skin has been properly prepared and the electrodes are correctly placed. A defective, broken, or disconnected leadwire could also be the cause. To troubleshoot this, check the leadwires, and run the Patient Leadwire diagnostic test to verify their functionality. Also, check for defective or expired electrodes. Finally, run the Acquisition Module diagnostic test to ensure the acquisition board is functioning correctly.
