device,howtoseparatethetopcoverfromthetopcoverassembly,howtoreplace
thetopcover,andhowtoreattachthetopcoverassemblytothedevice.
RemovingtheTopCoverAssembly
Usethefollowingproceduretoremovethetopcoverassemblyfromthedevicein
ordertoaccessthedevice’sinternalcomponents.
1.Beforebeginninganysteps,followtheinstructionsin“PreparingtheSystemfor
FRUReplacement”onpage73.
2.Gentlyturnthedeviceoversothebottomcoverisfacingyou.
3.Removethescrewsholdingthebottomcoverinplace,asshowninthefollowing
photograph.
4.Gentlyturnthedevicebackoversothetopcoverisfacingup.
