Thefollowingproceduresdescribehowtoremoveandreplacethekeypad.
NOTE:
Thekeypadassemblyconsistsofthekeypadanddisplayoverlayafxedtothe
displaybezel.Consequently,thisprocedureisnearlyidenticaltotheprocedures
forremovingandreplacingthedisplayassembly.
RemovingtheKeypad
Usethefollowingproceduretoremovethekeypadassembly.
1.Beforebeginninganysteps,followtheinstructionsin“PreparingtheSystemfor
FRUReplacement”onpage73.
2.Removethetopcoverassembly,ifitishasnotbeenremovedalready.

3.Turnoverthetopcoverassemblyandremovethesixfastenersshowninthe
