3.Lineupthetopcoverandgentlylowerituntilthelatchessnapintoplaceatthe
topleftandtoprightcornersoftheprintercompartment,justbelowthetop
cover,asshowninthefollowingphotograph.
4.Turnthedeviceoversothebottomcoverisfacingupwardandtightenthe
screwssecuringthebottomcover,asshowninthefollowingphotograph.
5.Reinsertthebattery.

Chassis
Thechassisislocatedbetweenthetopandbottomcovers.ThePWA,powersupply,
andoptionalKISSpumpareattachedtoit,andtheprintermoduleassemblyislocated
beneathit.
Thefollowingsectionsdescribetwosetsofprocedures:
•Detachingandreattachingthechassis
Usetheseprocedurestoaccesstheprintermoduleassemblyandtoremovethe
bottomcover.
•Removeandreplacethechassis
UsetheseprocedurestoreplacethechassisFRU.
DetachingtheChassis
UsethefollowingproceduretodetachthechassisandPWAfromthedeviceinorder
toaccesstheprinterassemblyortoremovethebottomcover.Forinstructionsonhow
