What to do if the Low Battery indicator is on for GE Mini Telemetry?
    • E
      Elizabeth BatesAug 15, 2025
If the low battery indicator on the receiver lights continuously, a low battery indicator appears on the transmitter screen, and an audio alarm sounds periodically, it means the battery is low. Recharge it by connecting to the GE recommended power adapter.

Why FHR/MHR or UA values are not displayed on the corometrics monitor of GE Mini Telemetry Medical Equipment?
    • K
      Kimberly SchmittAug 18, 2025
If FHR/MHR or UA values are not displayed on the corometrics monitor, first ensure that all three devices (transmitter, receiver, and monitor) are turned on. Then, check that the receiver interconnection cables are firmly attached to both the monitor and receiver. If the issue persists, replace the interconnection cables and verify the interconnection method.

How to fix GE Medical Equipment when the receiver power indicator does not light?
    • L
      Linda MartinAug 21, 2025
If the receiver power indicator does not light when the receiver is turned on, first, ensure the receiver is connected to an AC receptacle. If it's already connected, try a different AC outlet. If the issue continues, the AC power cord may be defective and should be replaced.

What to do if GE Mini Telemetry Medical Equipment shows erratic FHR/MHR/UA reading?
    • J
      juanbullockAug 25, 2025
If you are getting erratic FHR/MHR/UA readings, reposition the transducer on the mother’s abdomen and ensure it is securely attached to the transmitter. Also, make sure the TOCO/IUP switch on the receiver matches the UA transducer connected to the transmitter. Check that the receiver interconnection cable(s) is firmly attached to both the monitor and receiver, and if the issue persists, replace the cable(s) and verify the interconnection method. Instruct the patient to stay within signal range and designated areas where reception is clear. If another transmitter with the same frequency is in use, discontinue use of one of the transmitters. You might need to install an optional ceiling antenna system.

Why signal indicator flashes with transmitter turned on in GE Mini Telemetry?
    • V
      Vanessa MillerAug 27, 2025
If the signal indicator flashes with the transmitter turned on, ensure the receiver antenna is connected as instructed in Chapter 4: Installation and Setup on page 19.

Why does the signal indicator flash intermittently when patient ambulates with GE Mini Telemetry Medical Equipment?
    • J
      johnrosalesAug 30, 2025
If the signal indicator flashes intermittently as the patient ambulates, instruct the patient to stay within the signal range and designated areas where reception is clear. If the range is reduced due to hospital infrastructure, consider installing an optional ceiling antenna system.

What does it mean if signal and/or Low Battery indicators light with transmitter turned off on GE Medical Equipment?
    • R
      Roberto BraunSep 2, 2025
If the signal and/or low battery indicators light with the transmitter turned off, it could be due to an external source of radio frequency interference or another transmitter with the same frequency in use. Discontinue use of one of the transmitters. Reprogram the transmitter and/or receiver to a different frequency using the procedure listed in 'Appendix C' after consultation with a frequency coordinator designated by FCC.

How to fix noisy FHR/MHR waveforms on GE Mini Telemetry Medical Equipment?
    • C
      Catherine GomezSep 5, 2025
If noisy FHR/MHR waveforms are displayed on the corometrics monitor, instruct the patient to stay within a strong signal range and designated areas where reception is clear.

    Keith EvansSep 8, 2025
What to do if no data is received in the GE Mini Telemetry receiver?
    • J
      julie77Sep 8, 2025
If no data is received in the receiver even though both the receiver and transmitter are ON, ensure the interconnection cables are firmly attached to both the monitor and receiver. If they are, replace the interconnection cables and verify the interconnection method. Also, check if the transmitter and receiver are tuned to different frequencies and program them to the required channel number using the procedure listed in Appendix B of the Service Manual after consultation with a frequency coordinator designated by FCC.
