How to arm the system in the Away Mode.
Close all sensors (i.e. windows and doors). The Ready indicator should be on.
To arm, press Exit key or enter your four or six digit user code to arm the system.
The armed icon will turn on.
You will have _____ seconds to leave the premises.
How to arm the system in the Stay Mode.2
Close all protected doors and windows.
Enter your four or six digit user code.
Press the Stay key.
How to disarm the system.
Enter your user code to disarm the system anytime it is armed.
If your code is not valid, the system will not disarm and a two-second error tone will sound. If this happens, try again.
How to reset the smoke detector.
Enter *7, this will reset all smoke detectors (your system must be disarmed to use the reset function).
If the smoke detectors have gone off, you will need to do this before you can arm the system again.
How to set the date on the keypad.
Enter *96 followed by the master code.
Enter the Day of Week. 1=Sunday, 2=Monday, 3=Tuesday, 4=Wednesday, 5=Thursday, 6=Friday, and 7=Saturday.
Enter the Month Code.
01 = January 04 = April 07 = July 10 = October
02 = February 05 = May 08 = August 11 = November
03 = March 06 = June 09 = September 12 = December
Enter the Day Code. Must always be two digits. Example: The 5
th
would be entered as 05.
Enter the last two digits of the Year Code. Example: For 1997 enter 97.--
How to set the system clock.
Press *97 followed by the master code.
Enter the Hour Code which must be two digits.
12 a.m. = 00 6 a.m. = 06 12 p.m. = 12 6 p.m. = 18
1 a.m. = 01 7 a.m. = 07 1 p.m. = 13 7 p.m. = 19
2 a.m. = 02 8 a.m. = 08 2 p.m. = 14 8 p.m. = 20
3 a.m. = 03 9 a.m. = 09 3 p.m. = 15 9 p.m. = 21
4 a.m. = 04 10 a.m. = 10 4 p.m. = 16 10 p.m. = 22
5 a.m. = 05 11 a.m. = 11 5 p.m. = 17 11 p.m. = 23
Enter the Minutes Code which must be two digits. Example: 7 minutes after would be entered 07.
How to bypass one or more zones (To turn off a selected area of the house, while still protecting the rest of the home).
Press the Bypass key.
Enter the zone you wish to bypass.
Press the Bypass key again to confirm.
Press the # key to exit the Bypass Mode.
