Why is my GE PFD95 shaking and making noise?
    • T
      Tracy Williamson DDSSep 2, 2025
Your GE dryer may be shaking or making noise because it is sitting unevenly. Move the dryer to an even floor space, or adjust the leveling legs as necessary until it is even.

What to do if the Dry dryness level was chosen but load is still damp in my GE PFD95 Dryer?
    • S
      Suzanne AllenAug 31, 2025
If the load is still damp after selecting the Dry dryness level on your GE dryer, and your load consists of a mixture of heavy and light fabrics, choose More Dry. Also, inspect and clean the exhaust system, as a blocked exhaust system can cause dampness.

Why are collars and waistbands still wet in my GE PFD95 Dryer?
    • G
      Glenda RussellAug 30, 2025
If collars and waistbands are still wet at the end of a cycle in your GE dryer, it's likely because the dryness monitor senses that the body of the clothes is dry. To resolve this, choose QUICK DRY or TIMED DRY to dry damp collars and waistbands. In the future, when drying a load with collars and waistbands, choose More Dry.

How to remove lint from clothes after drying in my GE PFD95 Dryer?
    • G
      Glenda RuizAug 29, 2025
To remove lint from clothes after drying in your GE dryer, clean the lint screen before each load. Ensure proper sorting, separating lint producers (like chenille) from lint collectors (like corduroy). Static electricity can also attract lint, so see suggestions in this section under Static occurs. Avoid overloading by separating large loads into smaller ones, and always empty all pockets before laundering clothes to prevent paper and tissue from contributing to lint.

Why are clothes still wet in my GE Dryer after a short time?
    • M
      Mark SanchezAug 28, 2025
If clothes are still wet and the dryer shut off quickly, ensure that a dry cycle is re-selected each time a new load is put in, especially if the door was opened mid-cycle and a new load was added. If drying 3 items or less, choose QUICK DRY or TIMED DRY. If the load was already dry except for collars and waistbands, choose QUICK DRY or TIMED DRY to dry damp collars and waistbands, or choose More Dry in the future when drying a load with collars and waistbands. Check if the dryer is not level and move it to an even floor space or adjust the leveling legs as necessary.

If clothes are still wet and the GE dryer shut off after a short time, ensure a dry cycle is re-selected each time a new load is put in. When drying 3 items or less, choose QUICK DRY or TIMED DRY. For loads with collars and waistbands, choose QUICK DRY or TIMED DRY to dry damp areas. Ensure the dryer is level by adjusting the leveling legs or moving it to an even floor space.

What to do if my GE PFD95 doesn’t start?
    • S
      Selena GuerraAug 26, 2025
If your GE dryer doesn’t start, first, press the Power button to activate the control panel if it's "asleep". Ensure the dryer is plugged completely into the outlet. Check the building’s fuse/circuit breaker box and replace the fuse or reset the breaker, noting that some electric dryers use two fuses/breakers. If the light on the Start/Pause pad is flashing, press Start/Pause to restart the countdown, as the dryer may have been accidentally paused when starting Delay Dry.
