Basic safety notes
Intended use
The Geberit pressing tool is exclusively used for pressing Geberit
pressing system pipes and pressfittings.
Only use Geberit pressing attachments (pressing jaws, pressing
collars and adapter jaws) that carry the compatibility mark
.
The Geberit pressing tool is exclusively intended to be used in
accordance with these operating instructions. Other uses are deemed
to be improper and can lead to serious injury or death.
The Geberit pressing tool is not intended for:
• use with other manufacturers' pressing attachments
• use without pressing attachments inserted
The Geberit pressing tool together with Geberit pressing attachments
is not intended for:
• pressing objects other than those specified in the operating
instructions
• pressing the pipes and pressfittings of other manufacturers
• pressing pressfittings which have different dimensions to the
pressing attachment
