Rectifying malfunctions

Unable to
activate the
pressing tool out
of idle state and
no LEDs are lit.
Rechargeable battery
is defective.
Replace the rechargeable battery with a
Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee12V
.
Have the defective rechargeable battery tested
by an authorised repair shop.
The rechargeable
battery has not been
inserted properly.
Insert rechargeable battery.
Pressing tool is
defective.
Have the pressing tool inspected by an
authorised repair shop.
Green LED
flashes.
Rechargeable battery
not charged up suffi-
ciently.
Charge the rechargeable battery or replace it
with a Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee12V
.
Retaining pin has not
been inserted
correctly.
Insert the retaining pin.
Retaining pin has
come loose.
Insert the retaining pin.
Check the pressing operation and repeat if
necessary.
Red LED
flashes.
Incorrect or defective
rechargeable battery
inserted.
Replace the rechargeable battery with a
Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee12V
.
Pressing tool is
outside of the
operating
temperature.
Observe operating temperature of the
rechargeable battery.
Red LED lights
up.
Device failure
Press the start button. If pressing the start
button is not successful, the pressing tool is
defective. Have the pressing tool inspected by
an authorised repair shop.
Check the pressing operation and repeat if
necessary.
The pressing tool
stops and no
LED lights up.
Rechargeable battery
is defective.
Release start button.
Replace the rechargeable battery with a
Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee12V
and have it inspected by an
authorised repair shop.
Press and hold release button: roller drive
moves to its starting position.
Check the pressfitting for tightness and repeat
the pressing operation if necessary.
Red and green
LEDs flash
alternately.
Maintenance interval
has been reached.
Have the pressing tool inspected by an
authorised repair shop.
