Basic safety notes
Intended use
The Geberit Mapress pressing jaws are intended
exclusively for pressing Geberit Mapress system
pipes and pressfittings.
Geberit recommends using Geberit Mapress
pressing jaws in the following pressing tools only:
•
Geberit pressing tools that carry the same
compatibility mark or as the Geberit
Mapress pressing jaw.
•
pressing tools from other manufacturers that
have been approved by Geberit for processing
Geberit Mapress system pipes and pressfittings.

Other pressing tools have not been tested by
Geberit in terms of their suitability for the Geberit
Mapress pressing jaws. Using pressing tools with
excessive press capacity can significantly reduce
the service life of the pressing jaws.
